Search the Web to Save Pets

Whether you search the Web once a week, once a day, or once an hour, you can help ARFP raise money to save more homeless pets by using GoodSearch.

GoodSearch is a new kind of search engine. It was started by a brother and sister who lost their mother to cancer and wanted to find an easy way for people to donate to their favorite charity. Knowing how much money search engines (things like Google, Yahoo Search, and Ask.com) made last year from advertisers, they thought it would be a good idea if some of that money went to a worthy cause. So they created GoodSearch, a search engine that donates money to the charity of your choice every time you search the Web.

GoodSearch uses the same search engine as Yahoo!, so you get the same results that you'd get if you used Yahoo Search. Which means you don't have to worry that you won't find what you're looking for on the Internet.

To start using GoodSearch for ARFP, go to www.goodsearch.com. Type Animal Rescue and Foster Program into the I'm Supporting field. Then just start searching! You don't have to register your name or email address, and it doesn't cost anything for you to use GoodSearch.

To make it even easier to use, you can download the GoodSearch toolbar so you have the search field at the top of your browser window whenever you need to do a Web search. You can even add it to your Firefox search bar, if you use that instead of Internet Explorer.

So just how much does GoodSearch donate to ARFP? About a penny a search. That might not sound like much, but those pennies do add up. If only fifty ARFP supporters searched just twice a day, ARFP would raise $365 a year. If a hundred ARFP supporters searched twice a day, that would raise $730. And if a thousand people searched just twice a day with ARFP listed as their charity, ARFP would raise $7300 a year to help save homeless pets! All that just for doing something you already do!

The more people who use GoodSearch to support ARFP, the more money we'll raise to save homeless pets. So pass this message on to your friends and family and ask them to start using GoodSearch, too! You can also print a flyer to hang up at your office, pet store, or even your favorite coffee shop.
