The pets listed on this page are looking for new homes. Because limited foster home space prevents ARFP from bringing all the dogs and cats looking for new homes into the program, we've started the Courtesy Listing page to give individuals looking for homes for pets a place to let the public learn about them.
The animals listed on this page are not in the ARFP foster program; for information about a pet listed here, please call or email the person listed as the contact for that pet.
This adorable 1˝ -year-old longhaired Chihuahua mix tips the scales at 6.5 pounds, but don’t let her tiny size fool you—she has an effervescent personality. Margo’s life started out pretty rough…she was chained out around her waist as a puppy, and as she grew, the chain became embedded in her. She finally broke free and was picked up by a kind person who rushed her to vet. The chain was removed so little Margo could start to heal, which she has done very quickly.
What is even more amazing is that this little girl has no emotional scars. She is very happy, extremely playful, active, curious, loving, and sweet. She enjoys playing with toys, but when she has worn herself out, she likes nothing better than to curl up on a lap. Margo is an absolute joy to be with.
Margo would prefer a home where she has constant companionship because she would be lonely if left at home all day by herself. Because of her diminutive size, Margo is looking for a home where she would be the only dog, or a home with another dog her size would be okay. A small fenced yard is a must, and for her safety homes with children under the age of 12 will not be considered. Margo is healthy, spayed, up-to-date on shots, on heartworm prevention, and crate trained.
If your heart has space for a dynamic, sweet little soul, contact Jennifer at jhart@dbcradio.com. We will home deliver Margo, so you must live no further than 200 miles roundtrip from Greensboro, North Carolina. Application and $250 adoption fee required.

“Please save me.” That seemed to be what Molly was saying when she was found running down the middle of a busy street.

Molly is in Greensboro, NC and is waiting for her forever family to adopt her. Could that be you? E-mail Jennifer at jhart@dbcradio.com or call 336-854-5763 to meet Molly.
Are you looking for the love of your life? Roscoe just might be your man!
This 50-pound fellow is a Bassett mix with a goofy head -- what a mix!!! He is affectionately called "Bobblehead" and is just a hoot to watch, especially when he is cutting laps around the yard!
Roscoe is extremely gentle with children and strangers, and likes other dogs. But no cats please; he will chase them.
Roscoe is crate- and house-trained, listens well, and walks great on a leash. He loves playing chase, or just laying around chewing on a rawhide or toy. He enjoys sitting in your lap and being scratched while he gives plenty of kisses; he's a very affectionate dog!!
Roscoe was born in May 2004, is neutered, and is up-to-date on shots. A fenced-in yard is required for his adoption. This guy loves to get his exercise running and chasing toys, another dog, or anyone who will play with him!!!
Contact Shari at (336) 886-7104 or sharisawyer@northstate.net to meet Roscoe.
Single Black Dog In Search Of Energetic Companion.
If you enjoy running and playing in the back yard, taking long walks through the park, and cuddling on the couch, then I'm the dog for you! I am an athletic, 35 pound lab mix with tons of personality! I am very good natured and enjoy everybody! I am neutered and up-to-date on my shots and heartworm preventative. I sleep all night long in my crate, and I never have accidents in my crate. You can take me out in public because I am very well behaved. I do get bored at home when nobody pays attention to me, but I will let you know when this happens. I love to play with other dogs, but I really love playing with my foster mom more. Mom says I was born around February 2004.
If you are interested in adopting me, then please contact my foster mom, Patricia, at (336)253-8528 or PWisn291@triad.rr.com. My adoption fee is $100 to cover my neuter and other medical costs.
