Sophie's learned quickly that life outside the kennel can be beautiful. As one of the pictures above shows, even a nap on a shoe is better than concrete.
She also thinks motorcycles are great! Sophie greeted seventeen bikers when they pulled up at the Harley Owner's Group Poker Run to benefit ARFP -- and it took her no time to convince all of them that they needed to pet her.
Sophie mixes well with other dogs as she pretty much lets everyone else be boss. She can make the sound of a Wookie and has learned to sit on command. She's also doing splendidly with house training. And Dorothy, the test cat at her foster home, reports that Sophie is doing well with canine-feline diplomacy, too!
Sophie is about 6-7 months old and appears to be a mix of Boxer, Shepherd, and some sort of terrier with dainty feet. She probably won't get to be more than 40 pounds, although one never knows. But most of all, she's a good snuggler and a sweet, funny girl!
