Rene washing a dog. The dogs came in filthy and dehydrated. They went through triage, and then were bathed if need be. This particular dog was a biter and escaped after being washed, but was soon recaptured. He wasn't bad for Rene, but having already been bitten by another dog, Rene was glad that she didn't know he was a biter before bathing him.

Although volunteers came from many different animal rescue groups around the country, friendships were quickly formed as everyone banded together to help these unfortunate animals.
