It had been a long drive for Dee and Chad Sibert when they pulled into the ARFP adoption center parking lot at 4:30pm on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 -- from Greensboro, NC to Nashville, TN and back again. The ride had been even longer for their passengers, dogs and cats rescued from the floods in Oklahoma.
Other ARFP volunteers were waiting for them, and it took only minutes to unload the seven cats and eight dogs.
