ARFP Annual "Swing Into Spring" Golf Tourney

If you like golf and helping animals, then grab your clubs and three of your best golf buddies and head out to Holly Ridge Golf Links in Archdale, NC, on Saturday, June 24, 2006, to participate in the annual ARFP "Swing Into Spring" golf tournament. Up to 144 golfers will compete for trophies and prizes, including closest to the pin, longest drive, and a casino hole.

Planning for each year's event gets under way almost as soon as the current year's tournament is over. ARFP volunteers work throughout the year with area businesses and supporters to gather prizes, trophies, and the ever-popular goodie bags!

And don't forget the food! With an 8am tee time ARFP makes sure the golfers are well fed with breakfast before the shotgun start of the tournament. Beverage carts make the rounds throughout the tournament bringing a variety of refreshments to golfers. And after completing their eighteen holes, golfers are treated to a barbeque lunch, followed by the awards presentations.
