If you’re interested in fostering puppies or kittens, please fill out a VOLUNTEER application — not an application for the species you’re interested in fostering.
Once you’ve submitted the form, a volunteer will be in contact as soon as possible.
Please bear in mind that young puppies and kittens are fostered in pairs or triplets to allow for proper socialization.

It might be only February, but Fable the foster kitten is sampling some pumpkin. And by some pumpkin, we mean a couple spoonfuls.
Fable was born in late September 2019. He’s up to date on his vaccines and has been neutered.
Fable lives in a foster home with his sister, Rumour. If you want to meet them, come by the Next Step Adoption Center at 711 Milner Dr. in Greensboro to meet him!
The center is open Wednesday from 5pm-8pm, Saturdays 11am-3pm, and Sundays 1pm-4pm.
You don’t have to bring pumpkin, but Fable won’t complain if you do! 😉
The NSAC will be closed July 1st and 2nd for the July 4th holiday. The center will reopen July 5th at 5PM.
Due to the inclement weather, the adoption center will be closed January 7 and 8. It will reopen on Wednesday the 11th at 5pm.
The Next Step Adoption Center is closed for the remainder of the year. It will reopen on Wednesday January 4.
ARFP will be holding a special feline adoption event at the Red Collection’s Mill St. location from 11am to 2pm.
ARFP will also have kittens and puppies available for adoption at the Next Step Adoption Center on Milner Ave from 11am to 3pm.
The Red Collection is located at 1411 Mill St. in Greensboro, NC.
The Next Step Adoption Center will be closed this Saturday and Sunday in observance of Memorial Day weekend.
It will reopen for adoptions at 5PM on Wednesday June 1st.
Due to the rising costs of veterinary care, effective May 1st, 2016 canine adoption fees are now $200 (unless otherwise stated) and feline adoption fees are now $75 (unless otherwise stated).
Mark your calendars! Our Spring Purse & Shoe Sale will be held February 13, 2016, at Sedgefield Presbyterian Church on Wayne Road in Greensboro. We’re doing this fundraiser with Loving Pet Inn Adoptions, and it’s sure to be an event not to miss!
Spread the word that we are now collecting purses and shoes. They can be dropped off at 711 Milner Drive in Greensboro anytime. If the adoption center is closed, donations can be placed in the bins by the front door.
And be sure to let your friends, family, and co-workers know about the sale!
