The Next Step Adoption Center will be closed on November 30, 2024. It will reopen December 7, 2024 at 9am.
Cats and dogs will still be available for adoption and can be met in one-on-one appointments. If there is one you’d like to meet, fill out a no-obligation application and a screener will get back to you.
The ARFP Next Step Adoption Center will be closed for the holidays from December 20, 2018 through January 1, 2019.
But Ramona says not to worry! She and all the other ARFP kitties and puppies will be back starting Wednesday, January 2, 2019, so you can meet them — and they can find their forever homes.

The adoption center will reopen on Sunday, September 22, 2018, from 1 to 4 PM.
Saturday, September 21, 2018, is our fall purse & shoe sale. As usual, the sale is being held at Sedgefield Presbyterian Church at 4216 Wayne Rd in Greensboro. Doors open at 8 AM and the sale runs until 1 PM.
As always, you’ll find a lot more than just purses! We’ve got luggage, bookbags, backpacks — all kinds of bags!
And don’t forget the shoes! Men’s, women’s, and children’s!
LuLaRoe will also be in the house so you can find a new outfit (or two!) to go with your new-to-you accessories.
Proceeds from this event go to ARFP and Loving Pet Inn Adoptions to help both groups find good homes for homeless pets.
Due to the incoming storm from Hurricane Florence, the Next Step Adoption Center will be closed again on Sunday, Sept. 16.
